About jocabola

My name is Eduard Prats Molner and I am an engineer focused on interactive applications development since 1999. I am a developer with a good sense for motion, interaction and design. I like to pay attention to details and I have been always trying to work very close to graphic designers and to be involved in all conception and design processes.

On November 2002 I moved from Barcelona to Berlin and developed my Engineer’s Diploma “Visualization for a Music in Motion”, an exploration and research work about real-time music visualization and available AV development tools such as Max/Msp+Jitter.

Since 2001, I have been more and more involved with Flash developments, being today more than 90% of my professional activity. Additionally, I like to spend some time on generating graphics out of code. Besides Action Script 3, I use Processing and the OpenFrameworks library for my generative experiments.

In addition to my regular work, I collaborate with the Shift magazine, writing about exhibitions, events and interviewing artists and people involved in projects that look interesting to me.

By the end of 2006, I founded Mocoro together with Hugo Ahlberg. Mocoro used to be a studio focused on interface conception/design and web development.

Nowadays I run a networked design studio called Cell Flot together with Juan Romero. We offer creative direction, development and consultancy services for interactive, graphic and motion design.
