Super Enalotto scam arrives home
Today I have received a letter from Italy. The letter was properly addressed to me: my name was correct, so the address. I am surprisingly a winner of €970,000.00! wow I am rich!
The letter was sent from Italy and it comes with a form I should fill in with my bank details and address. A supposed lawyer company called “Studio legale Anna Giovanna de Italia” wants me to authorize them to claim for my money and give them a 10% of the prize in exchange. Nice try! There’s even a phone number and a fax number. Should I call? ;)
Apparently, there are many cases of scam via Email. Although it makes a big difference when the spammer sends you a physical “love letter” correctly addressed to you. I had to read it twice. WTF?
Soon we’ll need Google to install spam filters in our house doors. Quite annoying…

hola a mi tambien m paso lo mismo pero no sabia k era una estafa y di dinero k puedo hacer ?? si pudiera ayudarme le estare muy agredecido
My girlfriend just got the same letter in the post today. Also sent by Studio Legale Anna Giovanna de Italia.
Seems like my girlfriend also lucked out and won 970.000,- Euros. Wow! This is too good to be true. But it must be a scam.
My girlfriend just moved to Europe from South America and the letter was still addressed to my house with her full name. Very strange since she is not in any national register yet. I don’t know how they got a hold of her name and my address.
She has not been in Italy for years and has never played superenalotto.
Checking the superenalotto web site I couldn’t find any draw on the day the letter says she won. And the winning numbers don’t match any of the ones on their web page.
Anyway what kind of lawyer just gives you her first name.
What a piece of crap!!!
The address in the letter is from Rome, but the stamp on the envelope is from Naples. Maybe some Gomorra mafia gangsters hustling money of stupid people
Steer clear….
@Eddy: I don’t think we could do something against it. Would be a loss of time for sure
@Walter: Funny thing. I received the letter one month after moving to England…
